Hillside Way CSA (the unemployed housewife has a new hobby)

For the last couple of months I've been putting together an objective. I'm joining many other small farms as a CSA (community supported agriculture) in other words I'm allowing the community to share first hand in what my little farm produces. I'll be gardening approx. an 3/4 an acre of garden and selling subscriptions. Approx 25 weeks of freshly picked in season garden produce. With the help of intensive gardening and succession planting approx 40 families will be helping me enjoy my garden from May till October.

I'm looking forward to the years to come as the asparagus and rhubarb gets established, the newly planted orchard will start producing fruit. I may even offer farm fresh eggs. With my limited space I won't be tempted to go overboard with my Garden Share project.

If you're within 35 miles of Scio, OR and think you'd enjoy receiving about 25 weeks of in season garden produce in 2010 drop me and email and I'll send you a brochure.
